Baptism

An infant softly struggles to remember the relevant parts of the moment
A covenant
A thanksgiving
A consecration
Sealed with sprinkled water and rubbed oil
A welcome to the future as one of God’s own

The grandmother softly struggles to remember the relevant parts of the moment
The baptism
The peace
The confession
Sealed with intercessory prayer and merciful faith
A welcome, again, to the future as one of God’s own

About justbrinkley
